Hale's house

"Wow! It's so nice." Mai walked through the rooms in her socks. It looked like the house was ment to be like any other muggle's house but, if you knew what you were looking for, it definately had a glow of magic. "I wish i could stay here. My nan and grandads is so wizard, it's scary."

Ha! Hale laughed. She had a muggle mother and a magical father, it was nice. But this was the first time any of her friends who were magical had ever been to her house. It was nice, especialy to hear her praise of the house. Hale grinned. "Thank you."

Mai smiled at Hale. It was nice to be at a friends house, even if it was for just a day. Before hogwarts, she had spent most of her holidays at her grandpaerents or stayed at her old boarding school. She had had the feeling that things would fall into the same patern but it was fading now, besides, Hogwarts was lovely at winter and her dad had promised to take lots of time of to see Mai.

Smiling, Hale said. "Do you want to meet my mum? She has been on at me for ages telling me to invite some people over to the house! She would love to meet you."

"Cool!" Mai looked around the room. The view from the window caught her eye. It was beautiful. The sky was the colour of carabean sea with light, fluffy clouds that looked suspiciously like cotton wool.

Hale smiled. It was nice to have someone over at her house, her mum would be pleased. 
"Mum!" Hale called, "I have someone to introduce you to!" Awaiting the sound of her mothers footsteps, Hale suggested that she and Mai sit down in the living room.

"OK. Is this it? Through here?" Mai pushed open a door and loved the sound when it lightly brushed the carpet. It was a nice room with a soft yellow walls and a big blue sofa, opisit a LG plasma on the wall. Mai didn't know much about the muggle world and was fasinated.
